07 Oct Golf Club Car Park Extension Gets the Go Ahead
Over the last 18 months, the global pandemic has had a multitude of impacts. One such impact was the increase in popularity of golf, or mini golf as this was one of the few sporting activities permitted under lockdown restrictions.
Because of this golf clubs began to attract a lot more interest and families often journeyed to golf clubs to play mini golf, along with other keen golfers. Hoebridge Golf club saw a large increase in the activity within the club meaning more people travelling to the site.
FORM were commissioned to submit and manage a planning application for an extension to the car park. The golf club is located within the Green Belt meaning that limited development can take place.
FORM provided planning consultancy and architectural services which resulted in planning permission being obtained via a committee decision last week as members considered the car park extension to be an ‘appropriate’ development within the Green Belt.
